bigLITTLE 2020 Driftwood Riesling 750ml
Tasting notes
Candied anise, white flowers, balanced sweetness.
Pairings: Fish with chili sauce, spicy sausage, Thai food
Production notes
Reisling grapes are hand picked and whole cluster pressed in the fall, towards the end of harvest. The juice is fermented cold and slow in stainless steel. The fermentation is halted leaving residual grape sugars to sweeten.

Back Label Text:
My brother and I remember wandering the lakeshore, eyes to the sand looking for assorted treasures. Often a specimen of driftwood would present itself, carrying with it stories from its time as a breathing tree, to its afterlife sailing the seas.
So too this wine tells a tale of its time as a grape, and its evolution in the cellar. Driftwood is 100% Riesling. The fruit hung on the vine late into the season, and the resulting wine was bottled while still vibrant and youthful. But the story will continue to unfold in the bottle for years to come.
